Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos will travel to the United Arab Emirates and Portugal this week to promote investment in Colombia.
On Saturday, the Colombian head of state will meet with the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During his visit, two bilateral agreements will be signed and a contribution from the Arab country will be finalized for 45 million dollars for support in the post-conflict. Both countries will sign a contract on double taxation and an investment protection agreement.
On Monday, on a state visit to Portugal, Santos will go to the Belem Palace for a meeting with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. Finally, in the afternoon there will be a meeting with Portuguese business people in which a bi-national Strategic Council will be created.
